Join us as we discuss the retail landscape in India, with industry experts from Amazon India and Foodhall (a nation-wide chain of premium lifestyle and gourmet food stores owned and managed by India's largest retailer, Future Group) sharing their insights on how your business can capitalise on India's burgeoning retail ecosystem, in particular, the eCommerce market.
India has a global reputation in its IT and eCommerce sectors. With rapid growth of internet use, inexpensive labour, and the data movement - as well as the entry of international players such as Walmart and Amazon, India has leap-frogged traditional retail, leading the way in online retail and eCommerce.
The eCommerce market is estimated to be worth A$270b by 2026 and is preceded by only China and Indonesia in take-up and penetration.

Cosmetics in China Seminar
The Cosmetics in China Seminar provided industry insights and practical information on how to import and distribute cosmetics and skincare products in China through cross-border-eCommerce (CBEC).
Current regulations in China mandate that all cosmetics imported in to the region must be tested on animals, creating a non-tariff barrier for Australian companies wanting to export their products there. Contrary to this, animal testing is not required on domestically manufactured products. This was addressed and discussed during the seminar.
