The Victorian Government, through Global Victoria, invites export-ready Victorian technology companies with solutions in big data, AI, cybersecurity, Internet of Things and more to join the Big Data & AI World Singapore Virtual Trade Mission (VTM).
Big Data & AI World Singapore is the leading big data & AI event in Southeast Asia, and the Singapore Government is positioning Singapore as a hub for Big Data and AI development and innovation, as part of its Smart Nation vision.
In addition to interactive roundtable discussions with regional big data ecosystem experts, attendance at Big Data & AI World virtual events will provide participants insights into the sector and showcase the opportunities of your capabilities.

Singapore is a key hub for doing business in Southeast Asia. It is the regional lead in financial services, cybersecurity and big data analytics.
The data analytics industry is central to Singapore’s economy, with studies indicating that it contributes at least A$990 million each year. The value of regional big data and business analytics services is projected to reach A$36.7 billion by 2022.
According to the International Data Corporation (IDC), by 2024, revenue from big data analytics solutions will increase by US$41.9 billion in the Asia-Pacific region.
“The pandemic has created more urgency for organizations to have data-driven means to support operational resilience and revenue generation. IDC predicts many of the operational changes triggered by the pandemic will stay and create a bigger demand for data and analytics technologies in the coming years for countries and industries to compete in the digital economy”. The Australia-Singapore Digital Economy Agreement (DEA) was announced in March 2020 and features enhanced digital trade rules that reduce barriers and assist businesses and consumers to engage with and benefit from digital trade and the digital economy.
