Global Victoria on behalf of the Victorian Government, will deliver a space technologies trade mission to the United States of America.
Why the United States?
The mission will explore the vast opportunities for Victorian companies in the United States space market.
Human to Mars Summit 2019
The Humans to Mars Summit features a diverse lineup of topics, technologies, breakout sessions, and audience participation addressing the future challenges and progress of human exploration of Mars.
Speakers at the Summit will include high-ranking NASA officials, industry executives, experts from diverse fields (including science, engineering, and policy), representatives from the entertainment industry, international luminaries, and STEM education professionals.
International Space Trade Summit 2019
The International Space Trade Summit will bring together the advanced manufacturing, high-tech supply chain, and IT companies of the space sector from the 5 Eyes allied countries (Australia, New Zealand, United Kingdom, USA and Canada).
This Summit will cover current and future capabilities required to be in the sector, and explore opportunities within the sector through speaker sessions and business meetings.
What types of businesses should attend?
Victorian organisations with current or potential technologies, goods or services applicable to the space sector are encouraged to apply.
Global Victoria will facilitate business meetings and conference attendance for Victorian organisations at the Humans to Mars Summit in Washington DC and the International Space Trade Summit in Connecticut.
Additionally, there will be tailored business-to-business meetings in Huntsville, Alabama.
Delegates will be introduced to the space agencies, OEMs, and supply chain SMEs from the five countries represented at the International Space Trade Summit.
Opportunities across the trade mission will be provided for delegates to meet with representative from the following companies (subject to change):
Global Victoria will also provide:
- transportation to and from offsite business meetings within program
- on-ground assistance from the Victorian Government
- pre-mission briefing in Melbourne and Washington DC
- conference and trade summit registration costs
What's not included?
Victorian Government will not pay for delegates airfares, accommodation, ground transport or meals outside of official activities.
Eligibility, terms and conditions
Applications will be subject to an approval process and participation will be at the discretion of the Department of Jobs, Precincts and Resources (DJPR).
