This year's Victorian Invitation Program (VIP) welcomed 150 delegates from across the globe, including several recent business migrants now located in Victoria.
VIP's annual showcase is a multi-event and multi-sector inbound trade mission designed to bring qualified decision-makers and key influencers in trade and investment to the state to generate business outcomes for Victorian businesses.
Hosting nine separate international delegations, including a number of visiting journalists, a broad range of sectors were represented at VIP 2018, such as aged care, beverages, the creative industries, international education, liveability (waste and water management), medical technologies and pharmaceuticals, retail and eCommerce, sports technologies, and the visitor economy.
Bringing together influential leaders and decision makers, VIP 2018 saw over 500 Victorian businesses and allies engage with the visiting delegates at business networking activities, including industry roundtable events, site visits, one-on-one meetings and business receptions.
