Global Victoria is pleased to announce their partnership with Melbourne-based creative director and writer Alexia Petsinis who will take on the role of Fashion Correspondent for the International Engagement Program as part of the Virgin Australian Melbourne Fashion Festival (VAMFF) 2019.
Inspired by a tapestry of fine art, design and history, Alexia’s work seeks to connect with a broader social and cultural narrative through its exploration of texture, detail and emotional impact on the spectator. Whether working across film, photographic or written mediums, she aims to inspire people of all ages with unique content engaging all the senses.

Having pursued a freelance career within the fashion, art and culture spheres for the past few years, Alexia has been fortunate to work with leading Australian and international brands and organisations facilitating creative concept direction, short film direction and production, photographic campaign styling and creative consultation. Some of her recent clients include The Westin Hotel (Melbourne), Mercedes Benz (Australia), Pace Development Group and the Melbourne Theatre Company.
In 2018 her collaborative short film with global luxury fashion house BALLY won an Australian Fashion Film Award.
Alexia has also been a regular contributor to leading luxury fashion and culture publications across the Australasian media landscape including Fairfax Media’s Executive Style, LAB Gallerie, L’Officiel (Australia) and Voxfrock. Her experience with interviewing global creative talent, coupled with her enthusiasm for the research process, achieves highly detailed and engaging feature articles.
As a young professional working within a diverse creative sphere, Alexia perceives the importance of global exposure in expanding her client and project portfolio.
She aspires to continue developing her profile across the Asian, Middle Eastern and European markets where there exists an exciting synergy between fashion, art and culture.
