World Expo 2020 Dubai will run from 1 October 2021 to 31 March 2022 and include 193 country pavilions.
Victoria’s involvement will include leading delegations to relevant trade shows and fairs that coincide with the expo, as well as opportunities to be involved in Australia’s cultural program.
Proposed activities include collaborations with the Department of Transport, Liveability Victoria, Sport and Recreation Victoria, Creative Victoria, as well as delegations focused around:
- food and fibre
There are also a range of contracts open where companies can bid on projects to support the delivery of Expo 2021 Dubai.

The Expo will be a truly global experience.
The Victorian Government will take advantage of the Expo’s location and unique visitor profile to maximise commercial opportunities for Victoria.
It is the first Expo to take place in the Middle East, North Africa and South Asia regions, providing access to an area with a collective population of nearly 3 billion and a GDP of more than USD$7.4 trillion.
Being involved will provide high brand exposure to top 10 markets visiting Dubai, India, Saudi Arabia, United Kingdom, China, Russia, Oman, United States, Germany, Pakistan and Iran.
