The ‘all new’ Innovation & Technology Hub (formerly the Industry & Innovation Precinct) is a premium space that will showcase the best of Victorian industries with a STEM theme at this year's Formula 1 Australian Grand Prix.
This dedicated ‘Hub’ within Victoria's produced major international sporting event will help to demonstrate the strategic importance and relevance of STEM related industries in the State, as well as provide the opportunity to network with high-profile investors, business leaders and government ministers and build relationships through organised tours in the Innovation & Technology Hub.
The Formula 1 Australian Grand Prix 2019 will play host to world-class innovation,high-powered motorsport, cutting edge technology and forward-thinking. The new enhanced space for exhibitors, universities and business leaders will demonstrate the value of the Victorian industry to the wider Australian economy.
The Innovation & Technology Hub will bring together a broad range of industries including education, automotive, car safety, defence, aviation,
aerospace, technology, emerging entrepreneurial incubators and start-ups, drone technology and virtual and augmented reality.
The onsite destination has continually grown and evolved over the past 10 years, with the 2019 program set to include a new premium indoor ‘Expo’ structure for tech exhibitors, as well as the established ‘Driving Learning’ education program, profiling the subjects of STEM and encouraging the next generation to realise opportunities and pursue limitless STEM career pathways.
