Australia, Saudi Arabia

Global Victoria, through the Dubai Victorian Government Trade and Investment (VGTI) office invites you to their upcoming webinar to explore emerging opportunities for Victoria's sports industry and Saudi Arabia’s new sports capital, Qiddiya.

As part of Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 strategy, the government have committed to building four giga projects. One of these projects is a city named Qiddiya, which will be Saudi Arabia’s capital of entertainment, sports and the arts.

The Saudi Government is seeking international partners to assist in building their sports ecosystem including women’s sports and e-sports.

Given its high number of elite athletes and its well-established sports eco-system, Australia has been identified as one of the key partners in this project.

Melbourne is regarded across the world as Australia’s sporting capital, and the Qiddiya project represents significant opportunities for the Victorian sports industry – including sportstech and sports infrastructure and administration – to bid for contracts.
