Global Victoria is facilitating a trade mission program that includes attendance at the 3-day BIO-Europe Spring conference and site visits in and around Paris, France.

BIO-Europe Spring attracts a wide range of business leaders, including senior executives of leading biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies, investors and other industry experts.

Participating in this trade mission will provide companies with a greater understanding of the European life sciences ecosystem and existing opportunities for research collaborations, business partnerships, technology translation and commercialisation.

Located in the northeast of Spain, Barcelona is a major Mediterranean port and commercial centre with a population of approximately 1.6 million people. It is one of Europe's most thriving life sciences clusters, alongside Berlin-Brandenburg in Germany, the Golden Triangle in the UK, and Medicon Valley in Denmark and Sweden.

Barcelona's life sciences cluster includes over 1,300 life sciences companies and world-leading scientific, technical and research institutes that employ a workforce of over 15,000 skilled professionals.

BIO-Europe Spring attracts a wide range of business leaders, including senior executives of leading biotech companies, business development teams from large and midsize pharmaceutical companies, investors and other industry experts.

What's included?

Global Victoria's trade program includes:

  • Exhibition space on the Global Victoria stand at the BIO-Europe conference
  • A conference ticket (one per company), which includes online business matching via the exhibition organisers
  • Site visits
  • Networking events

From 14-15 March, prior to the commencement of the conference, an optional two-day pre-mission site visit program of Paris' biotech sector will be facilitated by our team from the Paris trade and investment office. This component of the program will provide companies opportunities to gain valuable insights to the region’s thriving biotechnology ecosystem.

What's not included?

It is the delegates' responsibility to fund and manage the following:

  • Airfares
  • Visas
  • Accommodation
  • Costs incurred outside of trade mission activities, such as meals and external activities
  • Transport costs, such as taxis, Ubers and public transport
