BIO-Europe Spring attracts a wide range of business leaders, including senior executives of leading biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies, investors and other industry experts.
Participating in this trade mission will provide companies with a greater understanding of the European Life Sciences ecosystem and existing opportunities for research collaborations, business partnerships, technology translation and commercialisation.
Located in Italy’s north, Milan is the capital of the prosperous Lombardy region. Milan boasts one of the highest concentrations of private companies, hospital facilities and research institutions in Europe and is home to the world’s largest Life Sciences companies.
More than 250 pharmaceutical and biotech companies are located in Milan, and it is the EU’s largest producer of pharmaceutical products. The region’s Life Sciences sector employs nearly 20% of the nation’s workforce.

- Global Victoria exhibition stand at the BIO-Europe Spring 2025 conference to be utilised by Victorian companies as a meeting point.
- Conference registration (one per company), which includes online business matching via the exhibition organisers, and networking events.
What's not included?
It is the delegates' responsibility to fund and manage the following:
- Airfares
- Visas
- Travel insurance
- Accommodation
- Costs incurred outside of trade mission activities, such as meals and external activities
- Transport costs, such as taxis, Ubers and public transport
