About the trade mission program

Global Victoria, in partnership with MTP Connect, Ausbiotech, CSIRO and the Department of Industry, Science and Resources (DISIR), will facilitate a seven-day program that includes pre-convention activities, such as multiple networking events and optional site visits in and around San Diego, California.

The optional site visit program aims to provide trade mission participants with opportunities to explore the US life sciences ecosystem outside of BIO and visit the headquarters of some of the world’s largest pharma and biotech companies.

What's included?

  • Presence at the Australian Pavilion at BIO.
  • A limited number of discounted premier access passes to BIO.
  • Webinar and in-market briefings.
  • Networking events.
  • Marketing and promotion.

What's not included?

It is the participant's responsibility to manage and fund the following:

  • Accommodation.
  • Visas.
  • Insurance.
  • Activities outside of trade mission events.
  • On-ground transport such as taxis, Uber or public transport.
  • Living and personal expenses.
