Canada’s largest mining event, held in the vibrant city of Montreal.
Global Victoria and Austmine are partnering to support a delegation of Victorian Mining Equipment, Technology, and Services (METS) companies at CIM Connect 2025.
What types of businesses should apply?
Export-ready Victorian METS companies are invited to apply. Preference will be given to companies with an established interest in the Americas.
About CIM Connect
CIM Connect is a global convention but will have a natural focus on opportunities in the Americas more broadly.
CIM Connect is Canada's premier mining trade show featuring hundreds of companies showcasing the latest in mining equipment, tools, technology, services and products.
Alternating each year between Vancouver and Montreal, CIM Connect is a key platform for spotlighting cutting-edge technology, inventive solutions, a wide array of services, and much more. Engage in conversations with industry professionals, experts, and key decision-makers. Explore and test products, establish valuable partnerships, and ignite fresh ideas.
Why you should apply
Canada is a leading mining jurisdiction and is a globally significant producer of platinum, gold, nickel, copper, iron ore, titanium, uranium, potash and many rare earth elements.
The total value of Canadian mineral production in 2021 was $55.5 billion, and exploration budgets have grown to decade highs in the previous two years.
Canada is a critically important export market for the Australian METS sector. Over 30% of Australian METS companies have business engagements in Canada and there is significant potential for this number to grow in the coming years. Canada offers an abundance of mining projects, a stable investment environment and significant partner networks to assist METS companies in pursuing business opportunities.
