Ready to connect and tap into one of the world's fastest-growing beauty markets? Global Victoria's Cosmoprof India Mumbai Trade Mission is taking Victorian beauty and wellness brands to South Asia's biggest beauty trade show this December. Applications are now open.
Successful applicants will:
- be provided a designated space on the Melbourne, Australia Pavilion at Cosmoprof India, Mumbai
- participate in a 1-day business program and retail tour in Mumbai before the trade show commences
- meet with buyers from major retailers and distributors
- explore the latest trends and product development
- connect with existing partners in-market
What types of businesses should apply?
Victorian beauty, wellness and personal care companies looking to diversify into new markets and build lasting international connections are encouraged to apply.
Why you should apply
A recent study revealed that India is the eighth-largest market in the world for beauty and personal care products. According to Statista, the market is currently valued at USD 25.7 billion and will grow to USD 31 billion by 2027.
The growth is primarily driven by increasing urbanisation, disposable incomes, participation of women in the workforce, growth in eCommerce and social media-driven marketing, presenting great opportunity to Victorian beauty brands.
What's included?
Global Victoria will fund the majority of the costs of the Melbourne, Australian Pavilion. Approved companies will be asked to contribute some of the Cosmoprof participation fees. The exact amount will be determined once the final number of participants is confirmed.
What's not included?
Global Victoria will not pay for the following:
- visas
- airfares
- accommodation
- travel insurance
- meals
- events and functions that are not hosted and/or co-supported by Global Victoria
- ground transport such as taxis, ubers and public transport
