Join Global Victoria’s Expomin 2025 METS delegation to accelerate your company’s success in one of the most exciting mining markets in the world.
Applications have now closed.
Global Victoria will support a delegation of Victorian Mining Equipment, Technology and Services (METS) companies by providing exhibition space within the Australian Pavilion, a business development program, and access to various networking events and functions.
What types of businesses should apply?
Export-ready Victorian METS companies interested in exploring opportunities in Latin America are encouraged to apply.
Why Expomin?
Expomin is the largest mining show in Latin America. The show enables engagement with clients and partners to contribute to the deployment of technologies and innovation to increase the productivity, safety and environmental sustainability of mining processes.
The 2025 edition of Expomin is expected to attract 50,000 international visitors and mobilise USD$1 billion in business.
Why Chile?
Chile is one of the world’s leading investment markets for mining. It is the largest producer of copper in the world and is a major producer of iodine, rhenium, lithium, gold and molybdenum.
Chile’s investment portfolio for the next 10 years stands at USD $65 billion, with significant projects in production and being developed by a wide cross-section of global mining majors, including Victorian companies such as BHP and Rio Tinto.
Chile offers considerable opportunities for Victorian METS by accessing the supply chains of these major projects. Victorian and other Australian METS have a strong track record and a good reputation in the Chilean mining market.
