Delivered in partnership with Agriculture Victoria, through its Pathways to Export program, this trade mission will support Victorian businesses through a range of activities, as well as an opportunity to showcase products to over 7000 visitors at a dedicated Victorian Government exhibition stand.

New Zealand is a springboard to global opportunities for new and early-stage exporters. It is Victoria’s closest international trading partner and is one of the easiest international markets in which to do business. This makes New Zealand an excellent market for new exporters to get a grasp on export essentials before taking on the world.
Fine Food New Zealand is the country’s largest trade show for the food, food service, hospitality and retail sector and an exciting platform for market entry and expansion into New Zealand.
Fine Food New Zealand is an exciting platform for market entry and expansion into New Zealand. Attendees and exhibitors will have the opportunity to showcase their product to more than 7,000 visitors, including leading chefs, distributors and buyers, with support from the Victorian Government to meet their objectives for the mission.
What types of businesses should apply?
This trade mission is targeting new and early-stage exporters, as well as established exporters that are looking to diversify and grow in the New Zealand market.
Applications are encouraged from export-ready Victorian producers of:
- packaged foods
- alcoholic beverages
- non-alcoholic/zero alcohol beverages
- health foods
- alternative proteins.
Aboriginal businesses are encouraged to apply.
What's included?
Global Victoria will support costs during the Fine Food program of events, including the exhibition stand, marketing and promotion, business matching and networking events.
What's not included?
It is the participants responsibility to manage and pay for the following:
- Visas.
- Airfares.
- Accommodation.
- Travel Insurance.
- Marketing and collaterals.
- Meals outside the program events and functions that are not hosted and/or co-supported by us
- Non-delegation ground transport/s such as taxis, ride share and public transport
- Freight – shipment and storage of product samples.
