Applications have now closed for Global Victoria's trade mission to FOODEX Japan 2025 in Tokyo, Japan from 11 to 14 March 2025, and the Seoul Trade Mission from 6 to 7 March 2025.

Export-ready Victorian food and beverage companies based or headquartered in Victoria are encouraged to apply.
Please note that this is a competitive expression of interest process with a limited number of participants. Applications will be thoroughly reviewed against the category opportunities in market. Before applying, please familiarise yourself with the terms and conditions for participating in Victorian Government trade mission programs.

About the opportunity
FOODEX Japan is the leading food and beverage tradeshow in North Asia and provides business expansion opportunities and solutions for food and beverage-related world issues. With world-class importers and distributors in attendance, FOODEX Japan will connect you to international trade opportunities and has the potential to expand your networks and partners in-market.
Following a successful program at the 2024 edition of FOODEX Japan, Global Victoria will again host a Victorian Pavilion in the Australian Pavilion Hall at FOODEX Japan 2025 from 11 – 14 March.
Exhibitors will have the opportunity to connect with buyers from major retailers throughout North Asia and understand the latest consumer trends in Food and Beverage.
In 2025, Global Victoria will host its inaugural South Korean exploratory trade mission in conjunction with FOODEX Japan from 6 – 7 March. This two-day market visit will include an in-market briefing, retail tour in and around the Seoul Central Business District, B2B meetings, and a networking event.
Delegates will have the opportunity to gain valuable market knowledge and raise brand awareness with local buyers and distributors.
What's included?
Global Victoria will support businesses participating in the trade mission through a tailored program, including:
- market briefings
- networking and co-sponsored events
- opportunities to connect and strengthen partnerships with key international buyers, importers and distributors throughout Asia through networking events hosted by Global Victoria.
Global Victoria will support costs incurred during the trade mission program between 6 to 14 March, including:
- a dedicated booth on the Victorian Pavilion at the FOODEX exhibition
- trade show passes for a maximum of two company representatives
- printed and digital promotion in Global Victoria's Exhibitor Directory
- company logo printed on a dedicated exhibition booth on the Victorian Pavilion
- B2B matching opportunities following 1:1 discussion about your export goals with our trade mission leads
- networking events and functions hosted and/or co-sponsored by Global Victoria
- Seoul retail tour
- Display and meeting space at the Victorian Government Product Showcase in Seoul.
What's not included?
Global Victoria will not pay for:
- visas
- airfares
- accommodation
- travel insurance
- meals outside the program events and functions not hosted and/or co-supported by Global Victoria
- ground transport such as taxis, Ubers and public transport
- freight – shipment and storing of product samples.
