Applications are now open for export-ready Victorian cleantech, climatetech and circular economy companies to participate in Global Victoria’s Green Economy trade mission to Singapore in June 2024.
What types of businesss should apply?
Export-ready Victorian cleantech, climatetech and circular economy companies are invited to apply. Preference will be given to companies with an established interest in Southeast Asia.

Singapore is an attractive market for Victorian green economy companies due to its strategic location, robust infrastructure, openness to investment, and strong commitment to sustainability. As a global hub for trade, finance, and innovation, Singapore offers a conducive environment for companies operating in the cleantech, climatetech and circular economy sectors to showcase their innovative solutions, forge strategic partnerships, and access new market opportunities across the wider Southeast Asian region.
The bilateral relationship between Singapore and Australia is robust, underpinned by the Singapore-Australia Free Trade Agreement. More recently, the 2022 Singapore-Australia Green Economy Agreement combines trade, economic and climate objectives. It aims to promote economic cooperation, boost trade, create business opportunities and decarbonise key industrial sectors.
What's included?
Successful applicants will explore opportunities in cleantech, climatetech, and the circular economy in Singapore and the wider region, engage with potential clients and thought leaders at the Singapore CleanEnviro Summit.
The trade mission will include several components:
- A pre-departure market intelligence briefing
- A pre-conference day of site visits and boardroom briefings with relevant public and private Singaporean green economy entities on Tuesday 18 June
- A conference attendance package for the CleanEnviro Summit (19-21 June) that may include potential speaking and/or pitching opportunities
- A funded engagement with a Singapore-based consultant offering a suite of services, customisable for each company’s unique requirements. These services may include:
- Market entry plans
- Lead generation services
- Marketing collateral development
- PR services
- Value proposition customisation
- Market intelligence reports
- A variety of networking events
Global Victoria will fully fund all program elements outlined above.
What's not included?
It is the participants responsibility to manage and fund the following:
- airfares
- visas
- accommodation
- costs incurred outside of trade mission activities, such as meals and external activities
- transport costs, such as taxis, Ubers and public transport.
