Where the World Talks Security

Global Victoria and its Victorian Government Trade and Investment (VGTI) offices in the US are delivering a trade mission to support Victorian company participation at the RSA Conference, including associated events in San Francisco, USA.


What's included?

This mission comprises participation in the Austrade RSA 2024 San Francisco program, attendance at the RSA Conference and the Global Victoria extension program.

Participation in Global Victoria extension program activities will be free. Global Victoria is also working with partners to provide access to side events and extra activity during RSA.

As part of our support of this mission and ongoing support of the Victorian cybersecurity sector, Global Victoria will offset the Austrade participant fee of AUD$1,400 per company for successful Victorian applicants.

Global Victoria will provide one (1) complimentary Expo Plus Pass per company (valued at USD$495) to attend the RSA Conference.

About the Austrade program

The Austrade program comprises bespoke sessions focussing on cybersecurity in the United States, including:

  • market briefings
  • reverse pitch sessions
  • B2B interactions
  • a networking lunch
  • a VIP evening reception.

About Global Victoria's extension program

Global Victoria's extension program aims to maximise the time of Victorian companies attending the RSA Conference and includes the following:

  • Sunday 5 May: An informal social/networking activity to welcome delegates to the program.
  • Monday 6 May: A "Welcome Breakfast" and market information session before the commencement of the Austrade program.
  • Tuesday 7 May - Friday 9 May: Activities aimed at connecting participants to industry representatives and providing a greater understanding of the key cybersecurity clusters in the US, including activity targeted at the Defense sector and CISOs from industry.
  • Assistance from the Melbourne and USA-based trade team in the lead-up to and during the program, including whilst attending the RSA Conference.
  • Free access to the Victorian Government Trade and Investment office (VGTI) in San Francisco for participants to work from and reserve a meeting space.

What types of businesses should apply?

Applications are sought from cybersecurity companies who are:

  • actively expanding into the United States in the next 6-12 months
  • can travel to San Franciso, or be represented by an in-market representative for the mission
  • are export-capable and export-ready
  • have customers and partners in the US-identified and or/or some market traction.

How to apply

Applications will need to be submitted via the Austrade RSA Conference 2024 San Francisco EOI portal which will remain open for Victorian companies until midnight on Sunday 10 March 2024.
