Where Policy, Finance and Technology Meets

Global Victoria and the Victorian Government Trade and Investment (VGTI) office in Singapore are supporting the Austrade-led Team Australia Singapore FinTech Festival 2023 in-market program this November.

The Singapore FinTech Festival will bring together the global FinTech community to engage, connect, and collaborate on issues relating to financial services, public policy, and technology development.

What types of businesses should apply?

Austrade is seeking expressions of interest from companies that are actively expanding into Singapore or the broader Southeast Asia region in the next 6-12 months.

Companies will need:

  • a go-to-market plan to expand in Singapore or the SE Asia region
  • the ability to describe and communicate objectives and vision for growth
  • proof of concept, existing customers and revenue generation, or existing funding to support market expansion.

About the program

It's important to note this mission is led by the Austrade Singapore Landing Pad who will determine the successful applications.

This mission comprises participation in the Team Australia Singapore Fintech Festival 2023 in-market program which includes an exhibit at the Singapore Fintech Festival.

Support from Global Victoria

Global Victoria, as a state partner, will be part of the exhibit and will provide on-the-ground support for Victorian companies.

For successful Victorian applicants, Global Victoria will make a 50 per cent contribution to offset the cost of the Austrade participant fee of AUD$3000 per company, reducing participant fee obligation to Austrade to AUD$1500.

Successful Victorian applicants will be required to complete a short evaluation form post-program.

Applicants will need to adhere to the Austrade terms and conditions outlined in their application process.

Participants are required to fund their own travel, accommodation, and in-market expenses.
