Global Victoria and its Southeast Asia Victorian Government Trade & Investment (VGTI) office are supporting the Austrade-led, Team Australia Singapore FinTech Festival 2026 program this November.

The Singapore FinTech Festival (SFF) is the world’s most influential fintech gathering, bringing together the global policy, finance and technology communities to shape the future of financial services.

SFF 2026 will focus on the coming rewiring of the financial system across technology, policy, geoeconomics, capital and talent.

About SFF

SFF is the annual global gathering of policymakers, regulators, central bankers, fintechs, technologists, investors and the finance industry.

Designed to foster impactful connections and collaborations, SFF is a platform to explore the intersections of cutting-edge financial solutions, evolving regulatory landscapes, and the latest technological innovations.

The mission comprises participation in Team Australia's SFF 2026 in-market program, led by Austrade, in partnership with Global Victoria and Fintech Australia.

Participants will be supported through pre-departure preparation and an in-market program combining market insights, customer focused pitching, business matching, stakeholder engagement and networking around the conference. The Team Australia pavilion will provide a hub for meetings, engagement and visibility throughout the conference.

Austrade has identified the following key opportunities in Singapore and Southeast Asia:

  • operational resilience and third-party risk
  • payments infrastructure
  • cybersecurity and security assurance
  • AI governance and emerging risk management
  • remittance and payout
  • institutional markets, wealth and digital assets
  • SME decisioning and embedded finance

Support from Global Victoria

Global Victoria, as a state partner, will be part of the exhibit and provide on-the-ground support for all Victorian companies.

In support of the Victorian fintech sector, Global Victoria will provide the following support to eligible Victorian companies selected for the program:
  • Full offset of the $1500 Austrade company participation fee
  • One (1) complimentary SFF Delegate Pass per company

Global Victoria will purchase the Delegate Pass on your behalf and issue it to you. Your Delegate Pass will provide access to the SFF Meetup portal allowing you to book up to 15 one-to-one meetings.

It's important to note that this mission is led by Austrade who determines the successful applications. Applicants will need to adhere to any Austrade terms and conditions outlined in their application process.

What types of businesses should apply?

Austrade is inviting expressions of interest from Australian fintech, regtech, cybertech and enabling technology companies with solutions serving banks, financial institutions, payment providers, merchants and the wider financial services ecosystem.

Australian fintech, regtech, cyber and enabling technology companies are encouraged to submit an EOI if they are:
  • Australian registered and operating businesses with an active ABN
  • exploring or planning expansion into Singapore and/or Southeast Asia and have a clear export strategy in place
  • offering a viable product or service with demonstrated commercial traction, differentiated value proposition, revenue and solutions ready for deployment
  • at least 12 months financial runway to support international growth
  • able to clearly articulate your business objectives, vision, and product-market fit for Singapore and/or Southeast Asia
  • able to send representative(s) to participate in-person between 17 to 20 November 2026 in Singapore
