As the most influential global event dedicated to all facets of the beauty industry, Cosmoprof Worldwide Bologna has been a landmark event for more than 50 years. It's a trade fair where companies from across the globe do business, and where beauty trend-setters present breakthrough product launches and innovative BWPC solutions.

There is significant demand for Australian beauty brands across the globe, and particularly in the UK and Europe. As one of the largest cosmetic consuming markets in the world, Victorian beauty, wellness and personal care businesses are well positioned to successfully engage with the region.

What types of businesses should apply?

Victorian beauty, wellness and personal care companies looking to enter, or deepen their engagement with the UK and Europe markets are encouraged to apply.

About the opportunity

This is a landmark event attended by the most important stakeholders in the global beauty industry.

Delegates will have the opportunity to meet with buyers from major retailers not only from the UK and Europe, but from across the globe, see the latest in trends and product development and meet with existing partners in market.

Business matching program

Global Victoria will fund and engage a service provider to arrange a tailored business matching program for each participating company. Business matching will commence as soon as Global Victoria approves brand participation.

The tailored business matching program includes:

  • brand interview to understand the business and its international expansion plans
  • guidance in preparation of specific brand deck and / or video to present to potential buyers ahead of Cosmoprof
  • virtual introductions to potential buyers ahead of Cosmoprof
  • liaison with potential buyers to confirm their physical presence at Cosmoprof
  • facilitation of in-person meetings at Cosmoprof.

    • Reserved space on an Australian Pavilion

    Global Victoria is planning to reserve a space for Victorian brands to exhibit at the Australian Pavilion at Cosmoprof. Each participating brand will be required to liaise with Cosmoprof to book and fund their stand at the Australian Pavilion. Global Victoria will support companies by providing an outline of pavilion stand requirements.

    What's not included?

    Global Victoria will not pay for:

    • costs associated with the Australian pavilion
    • visas
    • airfares
    • accommodation
    • travel insurance
    • meals outside the program events and functions that are not hosted and/or co-supported by Global Victoria
    • ground transport such as taxis, ubers and public transport

    This is a callout for EOIs only. Delivery of the mission may be subject to change, and if the mission goes ahead, companies who registered an EOI will be required to undertake a formal application process subject to approval by Global Victoria.
