Gulfood is one of the world's largest annual food, beverages and hospitality exhibitions, attracting food and beverage professionals from across the globe to Dubai - a hub for international trade and commerce.

The Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region is an important economic partner for Victoria. The  United Arab Emirates (UAE) imports over 80 per cent of its food product, of which around 50 per cent are re-exported to the Gulf Cooperative Council countries, the Indian subcontinent and Eastern Africa.

Participation in this trade mission will provide opportunities to:

  • connect with potential international partners throughout the MENA region and expand through Dubai and into international trade in-market.
  • reconnect and engage with key international buyers throughout MENA through networking and B2B events hosted by Global Victoria.

What tpes of businesses should apply?

We encourage applications from export-ready Victorian companies (based or headquartered) from the following industries:

  • Dairy.
  • Functional beverages.
  • Non-alcoholic or zero alcohol beverages.
  • Health and organic foods.

What's included?

Experience a program that provides ample opportunities for your business to connect with top buyers, and leverage the power of face-to-face business meetings, business networking activities and site visits.

In addition, Global Victoria will:

  • support costs incurred during the Gulfood program of events from 20 to 24 February 2023
  • provide an exhibition stand at the trade show
  • provide marketing and branding collateral.

What's not included?

Global Victoria will not pay for:

  • visas
  • airfares
  • accommodation
  • travel insurance
  • meals outside the program events and functions that are not hosted and/or co-supported by Global Victoria
  • ground transport such as taxis, ubers and public transport
  • freight – shipment and storing of product samples
