Why PDAC?
PDAC is regarded as the world’s premier mineral exploration and mining convention for people, companies and organisations to connect to mineral exploration.
Since it began in 1932, the PDAC Convention has grown in size, stature and influence. Today, it is the event of choice for the world’s mineral industry hosting more than 1100 exhibitors and 2500 investors.
The annual convention in Toronto, Canada is known for attracting up to 30,000 attendees from over 130 countries for its networking events and outstanding business opportunities.
What types of businesses should apply?
Export-ready Victorian mining equipment, technology and services (METS) companies are invited to apply. Preference will be given to companies with an established interest in the Americas.
What's included?
In partnership with the Victorian METS Export Hub, Global Victoria will be supporting a delegation of METS companies with exhibition space, a business development program, and access to various networking events and functions.
We will support space rental and stand build costs for a limited number of companies to co-exhibit in this space, as well as B2B and networking events and functions.
Companies will also participate in a bespoke business development program which is currently under development with our partner the Victorian METS Export Hub. The program will involve engagement with specialist consultants in Canada, and is likely to include briefing sessions, targeted market access advice, introductions to key stakeholders and pitching opportunities.
What's not included?
Global Victoria will not cover costs for participants:
- airfares
- visas
- accommodation
- costs incurred out of trade mission activities, such as meals and external activities
- transport costs, such as taxis, Ubers and public transport.
