Adolfo Durañona, Partner, Baker Mckenzie
Adolfo is a distinguished partner at Baker McKenzie's Buenos Aires office, with over 30 years of legal experience.
He served as managing partner from 2021 to 2023 and has been on the Management Committee since 2013. Highly regarded in the industry, Adolfo is consistently ranked by top legal publications and frequently sought by the media for his expert opinions. He is an active panelist at local and global events.
Beyond Argentina, he is a key member of the Latin America Energy and Infrastructure Steering Committee and the Global India Working Group. His practice focuses on commercial agreements, major projects, and mergers and acquisitions, with particular expertise in the energy sector, including mining and oil and gas. Adolfo is noted for his strategic advice on energy transition, guiding companies towards more sustainable practices.
Norma Ramiro, Consultant, Former Manager Argentina at the Australian Trade and Investment Commission
Norma Ramiro has over two decades of experience in international business, marketing, and investment, having served as the executive director of the Australian Trade and Investment Commission in Argentina.
Her work focused on promoting trade and investment opportunities, advising over 60 Australian companies across Argentina, Uruguay, and Paraguay in industries such as mining, agriculture, and education.
Norma holds a degree in International Trade from the Argentine School of Business and a certification in Strategic Marketing from the University of Buenos Aires. She also completed leadership and management courses at the Bank Boston Foundation and a master’s in strategic Thinking and Leadership from Austral University Business School. Currently, she is the Director of the Australian chapter of the Argentina Chamber of Commerce for Asia and the Pacific, founder of NR Consulting, and a member of the International Committee in WIM Argentina (Women in Mining).
