At Global Victoria, we're committed to creating international opportunities for Victorian women through the Global Victoria Women (GVw) initiative, which works to increase the number and diversity of women in Victoria participating in international business.

This year, Global Victoria is pleased to be a presenting partner of the Australian Women in Wine National Symposium 2026, held in Melbourne for the first time. The Symposium brings together women from across the wine industry for a day of learning, connection and professional development, and tickets are available now.

About the event

Held under the theme Rising Together – Shaping What Comes Next, the program will explore stronger leadership pathways, more inclusive workplaces and the long-term sustainability of the wine industry, structured around four pillars: Evolve, Adapt, Collaborate and Challenge.

Across four sessions, the program will consider business and leadership, with a focus on building capability, confidence and resilient organisations; the industry itself, and how it navigates change to shape the future of Australian wine; career development, including the opportunities, pathways and professional growth available to women in the sector; and the personal dimension of wellbeing, balance and the conditions needed to flourish.

The Symposium will feature a program of accomplished speakers. Carolyn Creswell, Founder and CEO of Carman's, will share her experience of entrepreneurship, leadership and maintaining balance while building a successful business. Mel Neil, Founder and CEO of Mind Insurance, will examine how we create meaning and the conditions in which people can flourish. They will be joined by industry leaders, experts and panellists who will share their insights and practical strategies throughout the day.

Who should attend?

We encourage Victorian women from the wine industry to secure their place and be part of the conversation shaping what comes next.

Numbers are strictly limited. Book now.
