Emma is a Trump White House alumna with over a decade of experience at the highest levels of Republican politics and policymaking.

She served as the youngest-ever White House Principal Deputy Chief of Staff between 2018 and 2020, where she provided counsel to President Trump and Chief of Staff Mick Mulvaney and oversaw several White House offices. She subsequently served as Deputy Chief of Staff for Policy to First Lady Melania Trump.

Before joining the Administration, she lobbied for Ford Motor Company, worked for Republican Members of Congress in both the House and Senate, and served as a member of the Republican National Committee's Official Proceedings team for multiple Republican party conventions.

As a Senior Advisor based in Washington DC, Emma uses her unique understanding of legislation and policy making in the U.S. and deep networks on the Hill and in the Administration to help clients map a route to achieving their goals.

Sara James
National Director, External Engagement

American Chamber of Commerce in Australia

Sara James is a National Director, External Engagement for the American Chamber of Commerce in Australia. Sara creates and curates international and domestic trade missions and events for the chamber and connects leaders in business and beyond.

Sara's role with AmCham follows a distinguished career in journalism. Sara is an Emmy award-winning journalist who travelled the globe for NBC News and frequently anchored on the Today Show news desk and other NBC broadcasts. Her prestigious honors include a New York Festival award for her report on the first woman considered for the U.S. space program, a National Press Club award for coverage in Sudan and a Headliner Award for her report on a victim of 9/11. Sara's featured American in Oz segment airs regularly on ABC News Breakfast.

Sara serves as Deputy Chair of Australian American Fulbright Commission. The Fulbright Program is the flagship foreign exchange scholarship program of United States of America, aimed at increasing binational research collaboration, cultural understanding, and the exchange of ideas. Sara is Vice president of KCNQ2 Cure Alliance and co-founder of Genetic Epilepsy Team Australia. Sara is author of An American in Oz (Allen and Unwin), co-author of The Best of Friends (Harper Collins) and editor of An Extraordinary School (ACER Press).

Andrew Tulloch
General Manager, Victoria

American Chamber of Commerce in Australia

Andrew has a long background in international business and is passionate about the Australia- USA relationship. He represented Austrade in an investment attraction role in San Francisco for five years and also worked for OneSteel to establish a new manufacturing business in the United States. He has also worked closely with AmCham QLD, as an AmCham Governor, when he was CEO of Trade & Investment Queensland (TIQ) from 2014 - 2016.

More recently Andrew worked for the Victorian Government as an Executive Director in economic development, focusing on innovation, the digital economy and medtech. Andrew grew up in Melbourne and has a strong local network. Andrew's educational background includes a Master of Business Administration, a Bachelor of Commerce, and additional certifications and professional development courses.
