Nine of Victoria’s top emerging startups have been selected to participate in 30X30, LaunchVic’s new program that is on a mission to see 30 Victorian startups reach unicorn status by 2030.
Victorian companies Bare Cremation, Buildkite, Carbar, HammerTech, InternMatch, July, Mr Yum, Nutromics, and Seer will focus on key strategic priorities fundamental to their growth and receive mentorship to their HR, Operations and Finance leaders to gain skills and exposure to common scaleup challenges and bottlenecks.
Subsidised by Victoria’s startup agency LaunchVic, 30X30 is an ambitious program for ambitious scaleups that aims to see 30 Victorian scaleups reach unicorn status by 2030.
Similar to Tech Nation’s hugely successful Future Fifty program in the UK, 30X30 is uniquely tailored for late-stage founders and their leadership teams.
Some of the biggest pain points to growth for founders are in the day-to-day running of business, and often in HR, Operations and Finance functions. 30X30 aims to free up founders to focus on key strategic priorities fundamental to business growth, while giving HR, Operations and Finance leaders the skills and exposure to common scaleup challenges and bottlenecks.
As part of this bespoke program, leadership teams will receive sponsored executive education, and have access to a range of mentors who have experienced first-hand the scaling journey as a leader in either HR, Operations or Finance. The program will leverage LaunchVic’s domestic and international networks, as well as provide media and marketing opportunities to profile your scaleup through LaunchVic’s multi-faceted communications channels.
Global Victoria is proud to be playing a supporting role in the 30X30 program by providing scaleups opportunities for international expansion and engagement with global markets through its extensive trade and investment office network.
