Sticky Balsamic jarring machineSticky Balsamic (SB) has experienced strong growth locally as well as in export markets both before and during the pandemic.

In order to gain new market share and new customers during the pandemic, six varieties of the new molecular gastronomy sensation - Balsamic Pearls, were launched in October 2021 after significant research and product development. Feedback from the export market and sales results within Australia have been outstanding, providing confidence the product is both exceptional and unique.

SB has invested heavily in the new Balsamic Pearls opportunity. The business has branched out on its own by investing $2M in machinery and other investments in order to significantly upscale manufacturing for pearls to ensure export in volume is able to be achieved.

SB have discussed the new balsamic pearls with many export customers under the “AUSBARREL Sticky Balsamic” brand, and there is very strong demand. It's expected AUSBARREL Sticky Balsamic Pearls will be soon available in South Korea, Southeast Asia, the USA, Canada, the UK and other European countries.

SB is also focused on expanding into new export markets.

Global Victoria has helped SB's export journey by providing market intelligence, and connecting them to potential off shore business partners through its international trade and investment network.

SB, via the AUSBARREL Sticky Balsamic brand has also participated in Global Victoria's inbound and outbound trade programs and events.

AUSBARREL Sticky Balsamic has grown significantly, and is Victoria’s largest producer of balsamic vinegar, and Australia’s most awarded balsamic vinegar manufacturer, known for the high quality, gourmet, artisan products manufactured.
